I have read this book and it is excellent for the reasons you have mentioned. It would be nice to read something like this about the Eastern mind and it's lack of passion. "Passion" is actually a really good word to describe the Western mind, which has been so bent on material progress characteristic of the raja guna. But of course this is not what Tarnas had in mind. Great review!
