I am personally not so concerned, but many of our spiritual brothers who respect Vedic authority are concerned about saving Earth and I think that devotees of the Krishna consciousness movement should encourage and support their efforts to fight the demons that are controlling modern civilization.

I really do agree with this. Using the instruction given in Genesis 1 that mankind has been given the duty to be caretaking stewards of the Earth it is our God given duty to not artifically withdraw from the battlefield in the name of so-called spirituality. I actively support PeTA campaigns concerning animal rights. I speak out against abortion as well and encourage others to do so. Environmental issues also. Even though I have little to no hope that the present population on this planet will stop animal and baby slaughter or cease poisoning and ravaging the Earth anytime soon.

Our duty is to speak out and the results,if any, belong to Krishna.

The idea is to bring light to the fact that such altruistic activities “when done in the spirit of Sri Isopanishad are another form of karma yoga”. (SP) We must show by example and precept how our actions are in line with God conscious principles and in doing so we are still preaching.

That doesn’t mean we all get absorbed in conspiracy mentality or ignore any conspiracy that has been openly exposed by enlightened beings who want the planet treated with the love and respect it deserves.

Preaching and spreading KC always involves the struggle against the demonic forces. If the devotees can find allies in the struggle, then why should they refuse that?

I agree again. The thing is as I see it that there is a very fine line that the devotee must walk. I would think it a mistake for a preacher of Krishna consciousness to declare himself at war with the illuminati and spend time trying to expose that conspiracy even if it is true.

Isn’t it more productive for the devotee to speak out against the demonic mentality of exploitation in general rather than take any one side in such a controversial issue?

No surprise there, we are living in the land of exploitation which is inhabited only by the cheaters and the cheated. There may even be galactic conspirators trying to rule the Milky Way.

But behind every group of conspirators there is a larger group of conspirators unseen by them. The cheater is always simultaneously the cheated rather they know it or not.

And beyond them all there is Mayadevi during Her service to Krishna. All conspirators are really just pawns in Her hands as She works to keep us conditioned to identifying with matter.

So it all points back to Krishna. Why waste time worrying about these insignificant conspirators that are like little bothersome bugs of the night when we are being shown the way to escape all such conspirators from the minute to the macrocosmic by just surrendering to loving Krishna.

The KC movement has a role to play although at this point it is in the back seat of the Global Healing movement.
The Vaishnavas should be the most learned in Vedic knowledge and assisting these sincere seekers in a higher understanding.
At this point, the KC movement has too little Vedic knowledge and too much fanaticism to lead, but they can certainly play a part.
