We take it for what it is and one could say that sadhana is all in function of that: learning to die, in more than one way. Die to your ego, but also prepare your whole life for the moment of death, and of course what comes after, which ironically may come even before the moment of death. The others, who take death “seriously”, conversely, live their whole life pretending death doesn’t exist. Reply Vamsidhari dasa December 4, 2010 at 3:55 am OK this one is a bit sub-par. Death is a serious business. Only if you don’t know it, see it, feel it, you can make distance from it but intelectually. We should take it seriously.
