LOL! Reply Karnamrita das September 3, 2009 at 9:56 am This is my favorite cartoon yet–funny, yet sadly profound. Fanaticism in whatever dress–religious, political, racial, ethnic, etc–is the real enemy. It is the cause of most of the wars, or genocide in the world. My way, or the highway! Intolerance and extremism are the opposite of kindness, mercy, understanding, compassion and true spirituality. Reply Amara dasa September 3, 2009 at 5:35 pm Agreed! Reminds me of the Beatles song, “Revolution.” Reply Babhru September 4, 2009 at 3:56 pm And remember: the Beatles cut two versions of “Revolution” with two very different tones. Reply Gurunistha dasa September 4, 2009 at 12:13 pm Actually I wasn’t even thinking of fundamentalism when I drew the comic, it was more about different people coming up with different means to solve the problems (the burning city) that we face in the world. But it’s nice that people draw their own meanings from the comics. Thanks for the comments! Reply Leave a Reply to Babhru Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
